Why don't we make it similar to raids(kind of but not really you will see).
Give police a 50 meter or 100 meter limit and give kidnappers a 30 or 50 meter limit. Im not saying they can kill anyone inside this zone like raids, still keep the kill anyone inside and outside just police cus the cop clothes and if they are rescuign you can shoot them, but if we are gonna limit one side we have to have a limit to another.
bruh you wont be telling cops to shoot from a zone otherwise they get banned. its the police ffs they are supposed to be the city, its realistic and like irl that police controll the surroundings of a kidnap zone...

If you wanna play the realism card then I could go anywhere I wanted without magical rules. RP is not based off of real life its based off the rules. This allows it to be properly balanced if something is unfair. If there are going to be limits on one side, it should be imposed on the other(albeit different limits, still limits)

You can't go "anywhere" you want in kidnaps, irl houses where the hostage is are surrounded by police, if you just walked out you would be shot. So yeah it is kinda unrealistic tbh.

in real life, kidnappers are very disadvantaged. they are in a place, fortified at most, and try to hold the hostage. allowing the kidnappers to get out and ambush the cops is plain stupid considering that you it’s unrealistic. police pressure the kidnappers to save the hostage and the kidnappers need to deal with that. its basically inpossible (and if you think it’s not ill be happy to show you) to rescue someone when kidnappers can get out of limit and ambush you. With all the pressure of raiding, trying not to get peaked and healing ect, you cant be being ambushed
Right now, it’s the police allowing the kidnappers to get out by not securing the area (like irl police would) as outspace stated we follow rules and make it semi-irl like, but need rules to make it manageable and fun. The kidnappers are never “forced to stay” they can tie up a hostage and move locations, they don’t even have to be with the victim. This argument has no valid facts behind it.

All I can say is get an organized force who make sure nobody is roaming around. You guys don’t get shot until you call a rescue or go inside the base. This post is made simply because you have no desire to secure the area, but rather go straight to the RP event and start shooting asap.

Good suggestion we’ll see what’s decided.

The argument "in real life" is beyond retarded rp first of all meant to be fun not realistic

Even if police secures the base, kidnappers can /kidnap assist from any point of the map. The point to just "secure the base" for nobody to get out and start map sniping isn't quite efficient.

Kidnappers have 60 seconds to assist after the kidnap is called, after that no one else can join them.

And police can come back infinitely, kidnappers basically play by the rules if your down your out of the kidnap eventually if you actually have a strategy you can win.

And by common sense, you can't assist an event where the kidnapped / robbed / arrested person is across the map for you, the person assisting, you have no line of sight whatsoever and you would be to call it over. as well that you can't tpa once you are in the rp event otherwise it's failrp

do you guys get that you need to be good to rescue someone. you can get peaked, sniped, rushed, flanked and keep shooting and windows getting repaired. when outspace talk about balance, all kidnappers got to do is, repair, and camp the place. i dont see how allowing more advantages for bandits will be any good. dont forget they can access senturys ect. and i know rp is not complitly like irl, but i compare it because « irl » is the most reaslistic you can get.
